Selangor, Malaysia, September 3, 2026 — Nepal registered its second consecutive victory in the ACC Premier Cup after defeating host Malaysia by six wickets on Thursday.
Chasing a target of 104 runs at the UKM-YSD Oval in Bangi, Nepal reached 107 for four in 21.4 overs to secure another convincing victory in the tournament.
Arjun Kumal anchored Nepal's chase, remaining unbeaten on 45 runs. Ishan Pandey contributed 20 runs, while Dipendra Singh Airee finished unbeaten on 12.
Earlier, Malaysia, after winning the toss and electing to bat first, were bowled out for 103 runs in 32.3 overs.
Malaysia captain Syed Aziz was the top scorer with 30 runs, while Aqeel Wahid added 24. Virandeep Singh and Muhamad Syahadat Ramli contributed 14 and 13 runs, respectively. None of the other Malaysian batters reached double figures.
