
The Nepal ‘A’ cricket team has been bid farewell by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) ahead of its participation in the Top End T20 Series in Darwin, Australia. Anil Kumar Shah will lead the 15-member Nepal ‘A’ squad in the tournament. The team includes Kushal Bhurtel, Lokesh Bam, Mayan Yadav, Tritaraj Das, Kushal Malla, Rashid Khan, Pawan Sarraf, Deepak Dumre, Shahab Alam, Bipin Khatri, Rijan Dhakal, Narayan Joshi, Akash Chand and Yubaraj Khatri.

Nepal’s men’s national cricket team has departed for Bengaluru, India, to attend a training camp as part of its preparations for the upcoming ACC Premier Cup in Malaysia. The team will spend time in Bengaluru focusing on training, skill development and match preparations before heading to Malaysia for the regional tournament. The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has reinstated Sandeep Lamichhane as captain of the national One Day International side and carried out extensive changes to the team structure following a series of disappointing performances in the Cricket World Cup League 2. CAN on Friday announced a 14-member squad under Lamichhane’s leadership for the ACC Men’s Premier Cup, which begins on August 30 in Malaysia. The decision marks a significant shift in the national team setup after Nepal suffered a 4-0 defeat in the recent League 2 series held in the Netherlands.
