Al Amerat, Oman, October 11, 2026 — Nepal set a target of 236 runs for Canada in their ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 match at Al Amerat in Oman after being bowled out for 235 in 50 overs.
After losing the toss and being asked to bat first, Nepal’s innings was anchored by captain Rohit Paudel, who scored 101 runs off 126 balls, including eight fours and one six.
Gulshan Jha contributed 48 runs, while Bashir Ahmed scored 30 and Arjun Kumal added 23 to help Nepal post a total of 235.
For Canada, Akhil Kumar was the leading wicket-taker with four dismissals. Sukhjinder Singh claimed three wickets, while Zahid Mirza took two.
Canada now need 236 runs to win the match.
