Selangor, Malaysia, September 3, 2026 — Karan KC produced a clinical bowling performance as Nepal bowled out host Malaysia for 103 runs in their ACC Premier Cup match on Thursday.
Malaysia, which won the toss and elected to bat first at the UKM-YSD Oval in Bangi, struggled against Nepal's disciplined bowling attack and was dismissed in 32.3 overs.
Karan was the standout performer for Nepal, taking four wickets for 23 runs in 7.3 overs. His spell included two maiden overs and played a key role in dismantling the Malaysian batting lineup.
Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi claimed two wickets, while captain Sandeep Lamichhane, Hemant Dhami and Dipendra Singh Airee took one wicket each.
Malaysia captain Syed Aziz was the top scorer with 30 runs, while Aqeel Wahid contributed 24. No other Malaysian batter managed to reach double figures.
