Humla, October 28, 2026 — Shram Sanskriti Party Chairman and lawmaker Harka Sampang Rai has pledged to address the use of risky cable crossings, known as tuins, by residents in Humla, where a suspension bridge is planned over the Karnali River.
During a visit to Adanchuli and Sarkegad rural municipalities, Sampang said people living in remote areas should have equal access to public services and facilities. He argued that the unequal distribution of state resources has concentrated education, health care and transportation infrastructure in urban areas.
