Humla, October 8, 2026 — Shram Sanskriti Party Chairman and lawmaker Harka Sampang has announced that he will travel to Ripa village of Humla after a recent episode of Herne Katha highlighted the hardships faced by local residents.
Sampang said he intends to help construct a safe suspension bridge for the residents of the remote Karnali village.

In a Facebook status, Sampang addressed a woman featured in the episode, writing, “Namaste Humla... I have seen you, mother! I will come! I don’t need anything! I don’t even need a single vote from you! I am Nepali! I will come as a Nepali and do whatever I can!”

His statement followed the release of Herne Katha Episode 174, which documented the difficult conditions faced by residents of Ripa village in Humla.
Sampang said he would travel to the village and contribute what he could to address the situation.
