Kapilvastu, October 30, 2026 — Police have seized various sex toys and chargers worth Rs 2,293,100 from an area near Mahendra Park in Ward 2 of Krishnanagar Municipality.
The items were found abandoned on Thursday by a five-member team from the Area Police Office in Krishnanagar, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Ripendra Kumar Singh, spokesperson for the District Police Office.
The seized goods include 365 vibrators intended for women, valued at Rs 712,000, and 99 sex toys intended for men, worth Rs 144,000.
Police also recovered 329 sex toys intended for women, valued at Rs 1.228 million, along with 1,476 chargers used with sex toys, worth Rs 208,600.
Police said an investigation was underway to determine who brought the goods and where they came from.
The seized items have been kept at the Area Police Office in Krishnanagar for investigation and further action in accordance with legal procedures. Police said they would hand them over to the Krishnanagar Customs Office after completing the required process.
A 34-year-old bus driver, Suman Khatri, died and several passengers were injured after a bus and truck collided at Chorkhola in Kapilvastu on Friday morning.
