Kathmandu, September 8, 2026 — Employees of Nepal Telecom have contributed more than Rs 20.2 million to support relief, rescue and rehabilitation efforts for people affected by the Bhote Koshi River flood in Rasuwa.
The employees contributed Rs 20,226,066 to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Rescue Fund for flood relief and rehabilitation efforts.
Nepal Telecom Managing Director Sangita Pahadi (Aryal) handed over the contribution to Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle on Monday.
According to Nepal Telecom, the amount was collected by deducting contributions from the salaries of employees working at different levels of the company, with the contribution determined according to their respective employment levels.
The company said the contribution is expected to provide some support for relief and rehabilitation efforts for people affected by the disaster.
