Kathmandu, September 8, 2026 — The Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) has contributed Rs 5 million to support relief, rescue and rehabilitation efforts for people affected by the Bhote Koshi flood in Rasuwa.
The association provided the financial assistance in line with a decision made earlier by its members.
A delegation led by NAIMA President Ritu Singh Vaidya handed over the contribution to Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle.
The handover was attended by NAIMA board members Yamuna Shrestha and Hemant Golchha, Simex Inc. Chief Executive Officer Sahil Shrestha, NAIMA Executive Director Rajkumar Dulal, Programme Coordinator Gyanu Adhikari and Utsav Karki from digital agency Digipal.
Speaking at the programme, Vaidya said the contribution had been made on behalf of NAIMA's member companies and automobile importers and manufacturers across Nepal.
