Kathmandu, September 4, 2026 — NVIDIA founder and Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang has contributed USD 10 million, equivalent to approximately Rs 1.51 billion, to Nepal’s Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to support rescue, relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts following the devastating Bhote Koshi floods of August 26.

Wagle said the assistance would strengthen ongoing relief and recovery efforts and expressed hope that Huang’s contribution would encourage others to support communities affected by the disaster.
The funds will be channelled through the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund and directed towards affected communities and reconstruction efforts, particularly in hard-hit areas including Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading.
According to Wagle, Huang’s USD 10 million contribution has taken the total amount collected in the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to around Rs 10 billion.
