Kathmandu, September 8, 2026 — Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has contributed Rs 13,899,425 to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to support the rescue and relief of people affected by the devastating Bhotekoshi River flood in Rasuwa.
The amount, collected from officials and employees of the central bank, was deposited into the relief fund on Monday.
According to a press release issued by the Governor’s Office, the contribution was collected from the governor, deputy governor, and permanent and contract employees of Nepal Rastra Bank.
The financial assistance was provided to support people affected by the devastating flood that struck the Bhotekoshi River area on August 26.
