Dhulikhel, September 6, 2026 — Dhulikhel Hospital has announced that it will provide free healthcare services for one year to family members affected by the devastating flood in the Bhote Koshi River on August 26.
The hospital said in a statement issued on Saturday that the decision was taken in recognition of the health challenges and financial burdens faced by families affected by the disaster.
According to the hospital, the initiative will help affected families gain easier access to medical treatment while reducing the financial burden associated with healthcare.
The hospital said information regarding the procedure for receiving free services, required documents and other necessary details would be made public soon.
It added that a process would be established to determine how eligible members of affected families can access the service.
