Kathmandu, October 16, 2026 — The CPN-UML has tightened security at its central office by deploying former army personnel and police officers and installing CCTV cameras after the government withdrew its security service.
According to the party, the government had been providing security to the office since 1991 but recently withdrew the service without prior notice.
