Kaski, October 29, 2026 — Police have arrested five men in connection with the death of 22-year-old Rajendra Paudel in Dhampus, Kaski, following an alleged assault at his home after a dispute involving alcohol.
According to the preliminary police investigation, a disagreement broke out on Kartik 8 (October 25) when Paudel joined a group of local men who were drinking alcohol. The dispute reportedly escalated after Paudel kicked a beehive belonging to Lil Bahadur Pun.
Before reaching the group, Paudel had reportedly argued with his brother-in-law, Bishnu Prasad Gautam, over a missing mobile phone. After Gautam refused to give him his phone, Paudel allegedly smashed it and left.
