Kabaddi 5 reports Rs 5.24 crore in box-office earnings during first three days

Kathmandu, October 28, 2026 — Nepali film Kabaddi 5: After the Final Match reportedly earned Rs 5.24 crore in gross box-office collections during its first three days in cinemas, according to figures released by the production team.

Directed by Rambabu Gurung, the film was released on October 23 during the Dashain holiday period. It reportedly secured more than 300 shows across Nepal during its initial run.

The production team reported first-day earnings of Rs 2.13 crore, with the cumulative gross collection reaching Rs 5.24 crore over the first three days.

The film also received a “superhit” label from QFX Cinemas during its opening days. However, that designation reflects the cinema chain’s commercial assessment and does not establish the film’s final nationwide box-office earnings.

The cast includes Dayahang Rai, Bijay Baral, Bipin Karki, Buddhi Tamang, Miruna Magar and Rishma Gurung, among others. The film is presented by Baasuri Films.

Although the reported opening collection indicates a strong start, the Rs 5.24 crore figure covers only the first three days. A verified lifetime box-office total was not available for this article.
