Nawalparasi East, September 15, 2026 — A man has been arrested after allegedly killing his wife with a sickle in Binayi Tribeni Rural Municipality-3 of Nawalparasi East.
Police identified the accused as 43-year-old Sher Bahadur BK of Chisapani. He allegedly attacked his wife, around 40-year-old Unimaya BK, on the neck with the sharp weapon.
Unimaya died at the scene from the injuries sustained in the attack, police said.
Following information about the incident, a police team including an investigation officer was deployed to the scene. Police took Sher Bahadur into custody on suspicion of murder and began an investigation into the incident.
