Kathmandu, September 2, 2026 — Bollywood actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood has arrived in Nepal with relief supplies to support communities affected by the devastating floods.
Sood arrived with a team from the Sood Charity Foundation, bringing essential materials including food and blankets for people affected by the disaster. He said the team would assess conditions on the ground and continue providing assistance based on the needs of affected communities.
“We are here to meet all the victims of the flood,” Sood said after arriving in Nepal. “We just want to be with the people who are in need and will try to bring their lives back on track.”
He said the relief materials had been brought from India and that his team was continuing to assess what additional assistance was required.
“We have got a lot of blankets, food materials and we are still asking whatever they need, we are trying to send it from India,” he said.
