Kathmandu, August 25, 2026 — Yamaha has officially launched the XSR 155 motorcycle in Nepal, with MAW Rides beginning sales of the neo-retro model at the NADA Auto Show 2026.
The XSR 155 is available in three colour options — Red, Black and Grey. The Red variant is priced at Rs. 539,000, while the Black and Grey variants cost Rs. 544,000 and Rs. 559,000, respectively.
The motorcycle draws its styling from Yamaha’s global XSR series, combining a retro-inspired appearance with modern equipment. It is built on the same underlying platform used by the Yamaha R15 and MT-15.
The XSR 155 features a Delta Box frame, a round LED headlamp, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank and a flat, single-piece seat. It has a 10-litre fuel tank and weighs 137 kg.
Power comes from a 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled and fuel-injected engine equipped with Yamaha’s Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology. The engine produces a maximum 18.4 PS of power and 14.2 Nm of torque and is paired with a six-speed transmission and an assist-and-slipper clutch.
