Kathmandu, August 25, 2026 — Dongfeng’s premium off-road electric SUV brand MHERO has showcased its flagship MHERO 1 at the NADA Auto Show 2026 in Kathmandu, giving Nepalese consumers a first look at the high-performance luxury electric SUV.
MAW Vriddhi, the official distributor of Dongfeng vehicles in Nepal, has brought the MHERO 1 to the 18th edition of the NADA Auto Show at Bhrikutimandap.
The MHERO 1 is a full-size electric SUV developed for high-performance off-road driving. It combines a rugged exterior with a premium interior and a four-motor electric powertrain.
The SUV uses four electric motors, with each motor powering an individual wheel. The system produces a combined 800 kW, equivalent to 1,088 horsepower, and generates peak torque of 1,400 Nm.
Despite weighing around 3.5 tonnes, the MHERO 1 can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, putting it among the high-performance electric SUVs in its class.
