Kathmandu, November 1, 2026 — The price of gold in Nepal fell by Rs 8,300 per tola on Sunday, with the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association setting the daily rate at Rs 272,000.
Gold was traded at Rs 280,300 per tola on the previous day. The association said the sharp decline in international gold prices had also affected the domestic market.
Gold had reached a record high of Rs 339,000 per tola in the Nepali market on Magh 15 last year, according to the association.
Silver prices also declined on Sunday, falling by Rs 175 per tola. After trading at Rs 3,825 per tola on the previous day, silver was priced at Rs 3,650.
Gold and silver prices fell in Nepal on Monday, with hallmark gold dropping Rs 1,200 to Rs 301,000 per tola and silver declining Rs 40 to Rs 4,620.
