Kathmandu, September 14, 2026 — Gold and silver prices declined in the Nepali market on Monday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
The price of hallmark gold fell by Rs 1,200 per tola to Rs 301,000 on Monday. It was traded at Rs 302,200 per tola on Sunday.
Silver also became cheaper by Rs 40 per tola, falling to Rs 4,620 from Rs 4,660 per tola a day earlier.
Russian Ambassador Alexey Vladimirovich Surovtsev said Russia is interested in investing in Nepal’s education and sports sectors during talks with Minister Sasmit Pokharel in Kathmandu.
