Kathmandu, September 17, 2026 — Bangladesh will tour Nepal in March 2027 for a three-match T20 International series, with the matches dedicated to the memory of victims of Nepal’s recent devastating floods.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed Wednesday that the three matches will be played in Kathmandu on March 26, 28 and 30.
The series was agreed following discussions between Bangladesh State Minister for Youth and Sports Md Aminul Haque and Nepal’s Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanshyam Bhandari.
According to a BCB press statement, Bhandari visited the board’s headquarters in Dhaka on Wednesday and met BCB President Tamim Iqbal. They discussed the proposed tour and broader opportunities for cricket cooperation between Bangladesh and Nepal.
The BCB expressed sympathy for those affected by the floods and said dedicating the series to their memory would give the tour added significance.
