Kathmandu, October 3, 2026 — The Nepali Congress has set up a health desk staffed by 30 health workers to provide medical services to delegates attending its 15th General Convention.
According to Dr Kedar Narsingh KC, coordinator of the Health Committee under the convention organizing committee, the health desk has been established on the western side of Khula Manch, where the convention is being held.
The health desk will have five stalls and provide general health checkups and emergency medical services.

Eight doctors, paramedics and nurses will be assigned to the desk, while free services will include blood pressure and blood sugar checks, paracetamol, oral rehydration solution and medicines for wounds and injuries.
Arrangements have also been made to take delegates to Bir Hospital, the National Trauma Center or BP Memorial Hospital in Basundhara if they require immediate hospital treatment. Two ambulances will remain on standby at the convention venue for this purpose.
