Kathmandu, September 7, 2026 — Gauthali has recorded the highest box-office earnings among domestic films currently screening across Nepal, collecting more than Rs 25.8 million, according to the latest data released by the Film Development Board.
The figures, covering box-office performance up to 11:59 PM on Sunday, September 6, show that Gauthali had sold 930,744 tickets and generated more than Rs 25.8 million in revenue. The film has maintained a clear lead over the other domestic productions included in the report.
Parvati ranked second with 54,735 tickets sold and Rs 15.8 million in box-office earnings. Masterni followed with 12,197 tickets sold, generating Rs 4 million in revenue.
Meanwhile, Halee recorded 8,525 ticket sales and collected Rs 2.3 million from ticket revenue.
The Film Development Board publishes domestic box-office figures weekly. The report is compiled using data collected through the board’s official box-office system and provides a snapshot of the commercial performance of domestic films playing in cinemas across Nepal.
