Kathmandu, August 21, 2026 — The prices of gold and silver increased sharply in Nepal’s domestic bullion market on Friday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
The price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 316,700 per tola (11.66 grams), up Rs 3,300 from Thursday’s rate of Rs 313,400 per tola.
Silver also became more expensive, with its price increasing by Rs 130 per tola. Silver was traded at Rs 4,985 per tola on Friday, compared with Rs 4,855 on Thursday.
