Gold falls Rs 2,400 per tola as silver also declines

Kathmandu, September 7, 2026 — The price of gold in Nepal’s domestic market fell by Rs 2,400 per tola on Monday, while silver also recorded a decline.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is being traded at Rs 301,900 per tola, down from Rs 304,300 per tola on Sunday.

Similarly, the price of silver decreased by Rs 35 per tola on Monday to Rs 4,690 per tola.

The continued decline follows a fall in both precious metals during the previous trading session.
