Kathmandu, September 10, 2026 — Newly appointed Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Deepak Kumar Sah took the oath of office and secrecy on Thursday after President Ram Chandra Paudel appointed him on the recommendation of Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
Sah took the oath before President Paudel at the President’s Office, Shital Niwas.
He was appointed to the ministry following the resignation of Gauri Kumari Yadav earlier on Thursday.
Sah is a lawmaker from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and was elected to the House of Representatives from Sunsari Constituency No. 4.
