Kanchanpur, October 2, 2026 — The Armed Police Force (APF) has seized various goods worth Rs 379,780 that were allegedly brought into Nepal from India without paying customs duty.
The goods were seized by the APF Border Outpost (BOP) Jimuwa from Tilachaur in Bhimdatta Municipality-10, Kanchanpur.
According to the APF, the items had been brought illegally from India and left unattended in the area. The seized goods include electronic items, mobile phone covers, mobile screen protectors, seeds and grocery products.
The APF said the seized goods, valued at Rs 379,780 for customs purposes, were handed over to the Kanchanpur Customs Office at Gaddachauki for further action.
