Kathmandu, October 2, 2026 — The prices of gold and silver increased in the domestic market on Friday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA).
The price of hallmark gold rose by Rs 1,500 per tola to Rs 294,800. Silver also increased by Rs 25 per tola to Rs 4,450.
On Thursday, hallmark gold was priced at Rs 293,300 per tola, while silver was traded at Rs 4,425 per tola.
Nepal recorded 88,248 foreign tourist arrivals in September 2026, up 12.1 percent year-on-year, with South Asia and China contributing significantly despite declines from Europe and Oceania.
