Kathmandu, October 15, 2026 — The Inland Revenue Department has set October 17 as the deadline for taxpayers to register purchase bill details under its taxpayer incentive program.
The department has urged consumers to collect bills when purchasing goods and services and enter the required information on the program’s official website.
According to the department, winners of incentive coupons for purchases made between October 2 and October 17 will be announced on October 18.
Consumers who paid cash for goods and services can obtain incentive coupons by entering their purchase bill details on the designated website before the deadline.
The department said original purchase bills are mandatory for claiming prizes and advised consumers to keep them safe. It has also instructed business owners to issue proper sales bills or invoices for every transaction.
