Pokhara, October 14, 2026 — Tourism entrepreneurs in Pokhara have expressed confidence in the long-term prospects of direct flights between Pokhara and Dubai after flydubai extended its booking period until October 30, 2027.
The airline launched the service on September 23 and has now opened ticket bookings through October 30, 2027.
Pomanarayan Shrestha, operator of Fly Namaste Travels, said the extension reflects the positive response to the service since its launch. Although passenger arrivals from Dubai are currently higher during the festive season, tourism entrepreneurs expect outbound passenger numbers from Pokhara to increase after the holidays.
Binod Singh Rawat, information officer at Pokhara International Airport, said the flights have been operating regularly, with only one cancellation due to adverse weather since the service began on September 23.
Under the daily schedule, the aircraft arrives in Pokhara at 6:15 p.m. and departs for Dubai at 7:15 p.m. As of last Monday, the service had carried 3,113 passengers to Pokhara and 1,423 passengers to Dubai.
