Washington, USA, October 13, 2026 — Prasan Nepal, a 21-year-old resident of High Point, North Carolina, known online as “Trippy,” pleaded guilty in federal court to conspiracy to commit the sexual exploitation of a child, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
Nepal entered his guilty plea before U.S. District Judge Reggie B. Walton in the District of Columbia. He faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in federal prison and a maximum of 30 years. His sentencing is scheduled for March 5, 2027.
According to court documents cited by federal prosecutors, Nepal was a senior leader of an online network known as “764” and its subgroup, “764 Inferno.” He and co-defendant Leonidas Varagiannis, who used the online alias “War,” were identified as key leaders of the groups.
Prosecutors said Nepal and others used encrypted online platforms from approximately 2021 through 2025 to coordinate the exploitation of minors in different parts of the world. The network allegedly recruited members, set rules for participation and managed the production and circulation of abusive material used to manipulate and coerce victims.
Court documents state that the network used threats and intimidation to target vulnerable minors and distribute exploitative and violent material. Investigators identified at least eight minor victims across multiple jurisdictions, with some material linked to children as young as 13.
