Siraha, October 3, 2026 — The Armed Police Force, Nepal has arrested three people in Siraha with 110 kg and 760 grams of marijuana.
According to Superintendent of Armed Police Suman Jung Thapa, chief of Armed Police Force, Nepal No. 7 Battalion Headquarters, Siraha, the three were arrested from the Daraia area of Aurahi Rural Municipality–1 at around 1:35 a.m. Friday following a tip-off.
Thapa said a 15-member team deployed under the command of an Armed Police Assistant Sub-Inspector recovered six sacks of marijuana while the suspects were carrying it on their heads from Nepal toward India.
The seized marijuana weighed 110 kg and 760 grams, according to the Armed Police Force.
The arrested individuals have been identified as 43-year-old Mishrilal Sadai and 31-year-old Maniklal Sadai, both from Deuripatti, Aurahi Rural Municipality–2, and 33-year-old Shyamsundar Yadav of Dhangadhimai Municipality–5.
