Salyan, October 7, 2026 — A 14-year-old girl died after falling about 250 meters down a trail while on her way to school in the Daya Dhuri forest of Chhatreshwari Rural Municipality-2, Salyan, on Tuesday morning.
Pramila Wali, daughter of Jibraj Wali and a resident of Dahagaun in Chhatreshwari Rural Municipality-2, fell from the trail at around 8 a.m. while heading to school, according to police.
Wali, a Grade 10 student at Janata Secondary School Gurase, was found unconscious by local residents.
Police said she died on the way while locals were taking her to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
